From the first Australian crop of proven Group One sire Fast ‘N’ Famous, this filly is a half-sister to Barely A Grin – a winner on debut at three in 2014-15. She is a quality, athletic filly and the dam has a 3YO Reward For Effort gelding named Rewarding Smile, and a yearling and two year old, both by Reward For Effort, still to race for her. No Stopping Cav In The Flat Knacker

TOO STRONG: Jockey Jake Duffy and Corsica Lad were too good in the 900m Flat Knacker, trainer Brett Cavanough’s fourth straight win in the event.

IT’S hard enough to beat Brett Cavanough on his home track, but there’s now one race where there’s almost no stopping him.

Seven-dollar chance Corsica Lad ran best on a wet track to win it’s second Flat Knacker in a row.

The win was also Cavanough’s fourth consecutive victory in the 900m Albury carnival sprint.
